In February my partner and I cancelled our paid-for flights to New York for 3 weeks this coming September. It was already clear by then that a trip to the US was a bad idea.
We live in New Zealand. It cost only a few hundred dollars to cancel.
We’ve been to Italy since then, and have now booked 3 weeks in Japan instead of the US. Don’t need the grief of the US, there are plenty of good alternatives.
Good 👍 I understand that some people, less financially fortunate than I, who did not vote for the orange monster, will suffer; but until the ones who did vote for this disaster, & still do support him, suffer some significant financial pain, we aren’t going to get them to turn away from him.
