For whatever reason this post evoked memories of Pinocchio, in which The Coachman lured children to Pleasure Island, where they were transformed into donkeys and sold into slavery. I remember being frightened by that part of the story in my youth. It's more frightening now.

In addition to the American children experiencing abuse, Trump ignores those from Ukraine. Putin kidnapped more than thirty thousand Ukrainian children, and as a favor to Putin, Trump stopped the Biden-era program tracking them.

An unspecified number of the Ukrainian children were killed or trafficked at once. Putin sells those remaining through a database in which they are sorted by “disposition,” and by hair and eye color. In the ‘90s, Trump and Epstein trafficked underage Russian girls through his agency Trump Model Management.

Russia is making every effort to return Ukrainian orphans to their families, or to put them up for adoption, a British MAGA assured me. I explained politely that very few of the Ukrainian children actually were orphans, or returned.

… and therein lies the problem… we live in a culture of abuse - abuse in any form possible to those who are the most vulnerable, and you all know who they are if you are following what’s going on in this country. Taking money away from programs will of course exacerbate the already epidemic problem. Taking anway funds opens the door to MR trump sending in the troops everywhere (thank you EEEEEEE) not to stop abuse of course, but to perpetrate even more abuse. We seriously must think about our existing law, where they fall short, and then ensure that our laws actually have some teeth - to change this culture and cycle of abuse that is happening all over the country. I assume, though have no data to support my assumption, that the US is the most abuse blind country in Western democracies. Shame on us and shame on our leaders, legal system, government, for allowing perpetrators to continue their heinous actions.

Nailed it. The common denominator is abuse of power- in homes, communities, workplaces & wider arenas. We need to connect the dots, & for gods' sakes, not roll back addressing these crimes. It greatly compounds the betrayal, the abandonment of those victimized. People have a shot at healing with support, but not when everyone turns their backs on them. What is it the US is so great at?

Keep this in mind when reading above

From the transcript.

Maxwell: If you met Epstein, there is no way that this cast of characters — of which it's extraordinary, and **some are in your cabinet** who you value as your coworkers,

Blanche did not pursue this line. SOME ARE IN YOUR CABINET.

hmmm. will these arguments states may make about how much $ they spent (and need) to deal with crime victims be flipped to justify sending in the guard ? to protect nursery schools? churches (where we know , thanks to the Catholic church, we have an incomprehensible number of crimes), supermarkets where there are kiddie rides .......there is no end to the depravity of these folks, these christians, these love of country folks....pathological is an understatement.....
