Protesters scare vice-presidential snowflake from ski trip
A day after running Ukrainian Pres. Volodymyr Zelenskyy out of the White House, Vice Pres. JD Vance got a taste of his own private-insurance medicine yesterday.
Vance had been planning to go skiing in Vermont. But apparently the date was non-consensual, because hundreds — dare we say thousands? — of protesters showed up to make Vance feel not at home.
The Vance family was expected to spend four days at Sugarbush, which is now believed to be his Secret Service codename.
An unnamed source of the kind that Pres. Donald Trump says shouldn’t be allowed told Fox that Vance ended up deporting his family to an undisclosed location, where they could shush so he could listen to the moguls.
Among the issues motivating protesters:
National Forest Service, which tends to places like Sugarbush (the skiing destination, not the vice president)
And, oh, yeah, after Friday’s embarrassing display of petulance and insecurity, one megaton of Ukraine.
Local snow reporter Lucy Welch had previewed Vance’s visit, letting her readers know that Sugarbush (the place, not the guy) is part of a national forest.
“National Forest lands and National Parks are under direct attack by the current Administration, who is swiftly terminating the positions of dedicated employees who devote their lives to protecting the land we love, and to protecting us while we are enjoying that land,” Welch reportedly wrote.
She added, “This Administration also neglects to address the danger, or even the existence of, climate change, the biggest threat to the future of our industry, and the skiing we all so much enjoy here.” Won’t SOMEONE think of the skiing?!?
Welch’s report apparently led to hundreds of protesters turning out at Sugarbush to protest Sugarbush (the guy, not the place).

Well the protest was effective. Now we have to keep it up so that he gets that reception everywhere. He is a thoroughly disgusting person.
