Biden was actually very good in the press conference earlier this evening (yes, imma vampire, it's near 2am CDT) despite calling his VP 'trump' instead of 'Harris' (we all know what he meant--again, with the babytalk🙄) and if any of you have multiple kids, you know you've called one of em by another one's name on the daily since you were 40yrs old, and i'm PRETTY gottdam sure Joe B (the 'gaffe machine'--remember?...since like 1978?) has more on his mind than the names of his kids and which one he meant to holler at, even tho THEY know exactly who and what the hollerin is about...see Joe's answer to a reporter by the last name of Sanger, who asked a multi-question in re china and russia--first of all--some of us here in the room who May or May Not have taken journo 101 (including yours truly, many moons ago) know the day-one lesson to Never Ask A Complex Question If You Want A Complete And Nuanced Answer Unless You're Prepared To Re-Ask The Separate Parts Of Said Question Repeatedly 🙄

The Times and WaPo should plaster their front pages with THESE sorts of stories instead of fixating on Biden's real and imagined problems. The woods are burning; and instead of warning the country about the imminent danger fast approaching, the media are fixated on a meaningless and dangerous debate on what brand of fire hose to use.

Tips are taxed for service people. That’s pretty fucked that rich people don’t pay taxes on tips but our service workers do.
Oh- just noticed that you said Trump wants to make them tax free. I’m ok way with that- for service industry workers. Not for politicians and judges. That is a fucking nightmare.
Trump's promise to stop taxing tips is really disingenuous... He won't charge income tax on tips but he'll still require payroll tax be paid. Most people who work for tips don't make enough money to pay income tax to begin with. Federal tipped wages haven't risen above $2.13/hr in 30 years. It would help workers more to raise the minimum wage but restaurant and hotel owner are, of course, against that.
