After years of denying trying to replace white people, the soon-to-be-not-White House will drop the pretense today and announce new measures to hasten what the MAGA right refers to as the Great Replacement...
I thought this whole article was a scream and a half! And sorry, but after the past 8 years I think all Republicans ARE bad. More specifically, either completely ignorant/misinformed or they understand alright, they’re just fucking traitors. (Just my opinion.)
Linda, thanks so much for the kind words! Always happy to top 100% screamness. As for Republicans, I'm generally disinclined to think that people "are" good or bad, and skeptical of using good or evil as ways of understanding or explaining human behavior. Even if I'm wrong, I guess I fear that treating Republicans like they're all bad both (a) vindicates their reciprocal judgment of the left and (b) makes it harder to reel people back in from ignorance. That's the case I'm trying to make in TFN, although I admit it's hard when the THINGS we're talking about so often clearly are very very double-plus ungood...
I've previously railed against the idea that "are bad" is a useful way of understanding human behavior, so that definitely wasn't my intended message. Can you identify what gave you that idea, especially given that some of today's TFN is about DIFFERENCES between Republicans?
My concern that you mean this in derogatory fashion is outweighed, I confess, by being tickled that you’re using “TFN” as if it’s a known entity. So… thanks?!?
I like BOTH. Many thanks 🙏🏼

Yes, all republicans are bad. Thank you for making that clear.
Ummm----nobody said "all Republicans are bad".
I think I did. They simply made it clear. And it’s okay. All democrats are bad too.

Nah, it’s TFN

You're definitely breaking through, Jon. This is proof!
