Do NOT make me stop this car, now! I appreciate the defense. And I appreciate the good-natured ribbing! Since I've made a career out of picking nits, I can't very well complain when folks pick mine. Besides, we want robust scrutiny and criticism of our journalism! So I consider any/all defenses of me and my work to be a mitzvah, but I feel the same about critiques, regardless of whether they're good-naturedly ribbed for my pleasure...

I kinda hate that the Ukraine vote will come as Mike Johnson and other radical right fundamentalist folks, including Tony Perskins, collaborate. Here's LittleSis.org's relationship pages for him. I'm concerned bc we know these fundamentalists/evangelicals want to force their version of "Christianity" onto everyone else...and they want to end Separation of Church and State...like in Project 2024. https://littlesis.org/person/73442-Tony_Perkins

I officially surrender.

Speaking of wrong state abbreviations, which state is AA? (This is good natured ribbing, but also a genuine question.)

Thanks! However, Eli Crane is a representative from Arizona. So my good natured ribbing stands.

I'm just irredeemable. Sigh.

You're performing a mitzvah to those capable of doing their own research who choose instead to complain about free entertainment. You're a better man than I, Jon Larsen.

Excuse me, I believe you're giving me the ribbing now, and I sincerely hope it's good natured. I'd like to point out that not only did I do my own research (I identified Eli Crane as an AZ rep), but also that I clearly identified in my initial comment that I wasn't complaining - I was poking fun as a reply to Mr. Larsen asking to be poked fun at. (As an aside, I didn't bother to look up the AA abbreviation because that wasn't the point of the question, which was rhetorical. You chose to make it your business to educate me.)
