First paragraph perfectly sums up Democrats. Their prime directive, "we fight progressives to the death but losing to Republicans is what we are paid to do." Not willing to fight for democracy or any thing good for people. Keep that donor money rolling in.
Thanks for all this, Jon. If only the people screeching to draft Kamala hadn't been whining about her inelectabiity since the 2020 primaries and she didn't't poll (I hate polls) EXACTLY the same as Biden against Trump. At least I'm spending a lot less time listening to the media and a lot more writing Postcards to Voters...

-- How about this one for a different "crime watch"? -- my local news had a story about a theft of...wait for it...a Barbie doll collection! Worth $10,000! Who woulda thought?!
-- Regarding the never-ending "Biden watch" dribble, yeah I'm po'd about not having a Dem primary so where were all the pundits and "news"papers during that time?? The Times article you referenced about reminiscing how Repubs criticized trump privately but never publicly and the Dems doing the same now I don't think is quite the same. I've heard much more criticism about Biden from Dem reps than I ever heard about trump from Repub reps. And the difference is that the Dems don't profess fealty like the Repubs. Nobody is saying "Biden has taken over the Democratic party!" Do I think they bowed to him in the primary? Yes. But this isn't even close to what the Republican party turned into.
I think that’s fair — I suspect the Times piece was referencing the first period after the debate, when most Dems kept their mouths shut…or still had their jaws dropped. As for where everyone was during the primaries…IIRC they were making fun of anyone running and not caring that there were no debates, etc.

So cynical!!! That’s MY job!
Could PROJECT 2025 be compared to the Communist Manifesto?

I haven’t read either, but I’m not sure how…?
