Can I tell you I feel the same way? I think at this point in TFN's development mission one is to take care of folks, find ways to inspire laughter, no matter how mordant. The bigger and more varied the audience, the more I'd be inclined to move towards a more accessible approach, opening pathways for people to return to sanity! Thanks for the thoughtful feedback, CI!

Re the birthright citizenship EO, if Section 1 of the 14th Amendment were 'repealed' [The Thing has no authority to do so via EO], wouldn't every American's citizenship be open to challenge? I mean, if you go back far enough, only the Indigenous People would be entitled to citizenship [or most unentitled because born here hundreds of years ago?]. I was born to parents who were born here [therefore citizens?], but my great grandparents emigrated from Norway [not born here but naturalized citizens - are naturalized citizens the only legitimate citizens?], so .... Anyway, if one isn't a citizen based on nation of birth, does everyone then have to become a naturalized citizen? If so, a lot of us are gonna fail the citizenship test!
From what I read there’s an exception for children of enemy combatants so the plan is to classify undocumented immigrants as that because they’re invading us. 🙄Which of course they aren’t but if the SCOTUS agrees it leaves open the door to selectively enforcing it on his political opponents.

It’s not complicated at all: the plan in his tiny mind is that if Trump doesn’t like you, he can revoke your citizenship and send you god knows where.
