I'm all for stahnning for Khan. KHAN!!!!! All over that. Even thought of trying to sneak in a sign to the Walz rally tomorrow in blue-dot-ville. But it appears that the secret service will not be allowing that to happen (still going to sneak in my trusty sharpie to maybe add to a distributed sign).
Edit: I also bought my kid a year's worth of new-fucking - she needs it to educate her boyfriend on why he needs to vote for president (and for Harris). Am rounding up other substackers to gift to her, too.
A year ago I finally started getting paid comparable to what those in my male-dominated profession were paid decades earlier in their careers. It’s my honor to spread that around whenever I can.
Alex Dobrenko did a sale on his substack recently that seemed rather successful. Not sure if anyone follows him, but it is a model worth considering. I'm already a subscriber here.
There’s a decent chance Disney might wiggle out of this one. Raglan Road is not a Disney-owned restaurant. It’s independently owned and operated, renting space on Disney property. So while they certainly have a moral duty to the family, they may not actually have a legal one as none of Raglan Road’s staff actually works for Disney.
I expect to see a ton of people canceling Disney+ over this, though.
