Wait, did I miss any mention of our taxpayer funded 24-hour Israeli Slaughter-a-Thon of Palestinian children taking place that Biden and Harris practically never mention?
You did not. As you WELL KNOW, sir! I suspect we'll learn more about her role in all of this in the days ahead. Assuming anyone bothers looking into it...
It's a good thing that I read about Manchin denying that he would run for president now before I read any other blurbs. His name even entering any discussion pisses me off, because it would be a cold day in hell that I'd vote for the Senator from a bucket of coal. He can go babysit Jim Justice's dog if he needs to keep busy.
Edit: Oh, and thanks for another banger of an article.
I have a feeling that the Venn diagram of the people screaming about George Clooney today and the people who told me to STFU when Bernie dropped out in 2020 is a perfect circle. Not gonna lie… Kinda enjoying their frustration.
> And if Republicans are absolutely livid that the Secret Service failed to block every single line of fire in the space-time continuum that an AR-style rifle could find, imagine how pissed they’ll be when they learn who made it possible for the gunman to get that rifle!
In my opinion, both can be true. The Secret Service failed to prevent or detect a rooftop shooter in time to prevent a near assassination. It's only by dint of luck that Trump wasn't killed. It's probably not reasonable to expect the Secret Service to cut off all avenues of attack, but this attack was something which should not have happened.
But, yes, it's a travesty that it's so easy to acquire weapons and ammunition as powerful as the AR-15. Only in America.
I love, love, love the paragraphs about Manchin. Worth the price of admission!

You know I don't deserve to be called "sir."

Thank you! Yeah, the Manchin news broke about the moment my finger was retreating from the "Send Already Outdated Post Now" button...

I like to think politics has room for personal pettiness, as long as it scales negatively with actual power!

I'm often in the both-can-be-true camp, so thank you!
Thanks for being a voice of reason in the mess of the world.
Thank you! (I try to quarantine my own personal batshittery away in the dark in my special secret place...)
