Get a (good) sci-fi writer, (preferably one who writes “hard” sci-fi) who is also a scientist to do a daily featured show/program on a “news” network (MSNBC?). Get a scientific mind combined with imagination and creativity.

Find someone who can take a current climate news story, link it to the survival of our planet, and communicate with passion.

Of course, the host needs to need to be fun and super watch-able. Harness someone who is trained in physics, geochemistry, oceanography, glaciology, or, I don’t know, maybe…..climatology or meteorology!

There’s a surging popularity of science fiction that is climate focused (coined as “cli-fi”) and I’m sure we’re going to see a lot of it!

Not that he would be right for a daily climate show, but If you’re interested in an author who is focused on climate change, check out Kim Stanley Robinson; he’s a multi-award winning sci-fi writer (who’s been called the greatest living science fiction author) and “virtually all of Robinson's novels have an ecological component; sustainability is one of his primary themes” (Wikipedia).

I've rallied, marched, advocated for, and donated lots of $$$ for environmental causes over the last 25 years. Along with millions of others. There were good times during the Obama years, then 4 years of backsliding. Biden did a lot of good things, but now another 4 years of worse backsliding is on the way. There just isn't enough leaders with strong enough spines to stand up to oil...worldwide. Our oil addiction will be our demise...I fear. I'll march on anyway...
