I recall TYT critizing Buttigieg for being a lobbyist for the railroad industry and his failure to take decisive action against the railroad responsible for the PA./OH. derailment. Help me out Newsfuckers.

I like Ann Telnaes’ take on what happens when a woman runs for president.

i'm afraid the tipping point on the planet's climate was reached long ago--people (many scientists included) are going to be stunned by how rapidly the problem escalates into near-worldwide disaster

i dont get what they're trying to imply by making fun of candidate Kamala's laugh...that she's not serious?...a mere GRRRRRRLLL omfg 🙄

many moons ago, i had a GF with a laugh like that...bust-out loud, uncontrolled joyful laughter...it was one of my favorite things about her, and i actually kinda miss that 🤔...Kamala even bears a fair resemblance to her 🤷🏼‍♂️anyway, how low are they gonna go to diss and dismiss her, that even her laugh is a target? 🤨

fucking Magats gonna Magat 😠

gold joke is comedy dad-joke gold 😂

Ha! Thanks… I don’t know that the laugh attacks are substantive so much as purely pushing the buttons of toxic masculinity…

"Politics isn’t picking heroes to worship, it’s picking those most likely to do the job well."

Or the one least likely to make things worse.

Great take on the GOP he-man woman-haters (and women self-haters) club.

Good one!

As I said in my restack, the joy of laughter you so rightly point out is such a welcome shift from the rage, disgust, and mockery at the center of the GOP. To be able to strike a tone of delight right now is political genius, and I think it is genuine. Not that I agree with everything Kamala will propose, but her speech yesterday in Milwaukee was cogent, smart strategy (visit Wisconsin!), authentic, and had several policies I agree with. We'll see if she is as much of a double talker as Obama. Today, it is less a situation of voting for the lesser of two evils than in living memory.

I might just have to giggle with delight about that several times today, unprompted.
