I like the current length and especially early AM delivery. There are plenty of shorter news formats out there, I feel the current length helps distinguish this from others.
Also, you can always read less of a longer post, but you can't read more of a shorter post... amirite?
I’m with Dave. Also, Substack offers audio for each news item - I was surprised at how solid the quality was for a presumably auto-generated sound bit. Sure, some of the nuances of language are a bit off but the convenience is there for a longer piece.
Hear me out, though... why support Jonathan’s TFN launch and then ask for less news so quickly? I’d imagine that at TYT, he was tasked with many other things, and was bound by his surroundings. The creative freedom (and hunger) must be running rampant.
I say let him do his thing. But you know what is awkwardly fun? Polls.
Sadly I agree, not only attention span but just time in general. Reading has become a luxury but knowledge is power so I make it a point to try and digest it all. Once a day works great for me!
Thanks for the thoughtful comment! What say you, newsfuckers? Are your TFNs too long? Would you prefer shorter individual items… or fewer items? Or both? Would you prefer to split the newsfucking into two sessions… morning and night? (No nooners!) LMK!
As I savor another fantastic read I am reminded of how sad I was that week you were transitioning, I am grateful to enjoy your writing every weekday morning and hope the support continues and makes this a viable and (someday) profitable platform!
better less items and more info about them being it is a daily posting.
Keep posting but your posts are too long, maybe lose eyeballs due to the short attention span of some.
